Wastegate t'd from BOV?
 

Stupid question.. redtop sr, can you t from bov to wastegate?

wastegate should ideally see boost only. ive always tapped the pipe and closest boost source possible.

Thanks Beems, appreciate the feedback. I'm planning to weld in a nipple on the hot pipe. I was just curious if this setup actually works? Meaning does it actually open wastegate at Mac boost?

Yes it will work. I doubt vacuum will damage the diaphragm. probably no downsides other that maybe response time
