question for u guys. I wanna bring up a 240 from cali or somewhere south. But the cars i've been looking at all have power seatbelts. A friend of mine told me that u can't pass safety with power seatbelts.
figured I'd ask for some insight, as i've worked on cars here that have them. Old mercury vans come to mind.
Anyone know a definate answer? preferably thru experience.

It's not that you can't pass safety.....They won't let it cross the border.
If you look on the manitoba website, you'll find a numbver to call about customs work to bring a car over the border. They'll tell you everything.

2- 95 240's, one is rusted out and simply a winter/parts car, the other has an s15 sr20 and currently working on the s15 front end conversion. should be ready again by summer! :)

Hey guys! Names Brennan, I'm from just east of the peg. I have a 1993 S14 Silvia. Full navan kit (will be selling this year) , I'm currently rebuilding the motor (new oem crank, pistons,rings, acl race main/rod bearings, eagle rods, tomei 1.2mm head gasket, and I'll be getting head parts next). Can't wait to meet some more schassis guys.
