I have a quick question. I have a friend that is moving to Minnesota and her job told her that she needs a shield or something to put underneath her car. I guess to prevent rust or something from the snow. I was wondering if this is true for anybody that lives where it snows alot.

ah I have lived in MN for a while and never heard of such a thing.  Unless they are talking about undercoating, which is a rubber paint.  I wouldn't recommend it, but whatever.  Just don't drive a car that you care about it's finish in the winte cause they go crazy with the salt here.
