Welcome. I'm from Greensboro so I'm not too far from yall. If your not on gunemdown.net or carolina nissans, I would check them out. Those are the drift/nissan forums for NC.

I just got my car recently too so no, no meets yet but definitely would go, Ill check out those NC sites too

I think some dudes on here meet at a sonic in Greensboro or something.

Gunemdown.net is all but dead and I haven't been on CN in forever. I don't know how much of a "community" there is in the area for 240's but if you are into the drift thing there are quite a few sanctioned events in around the state.

i saw that car for sale last week with a wreck front end.

Yup.. lol. I'm in the process of fixing it now.

Cars & Coffee Greensboro is every third Saturday at the Fresh Market on New Garden.
I have not moved my 240 outside of my neighborhood in over 2.5 months though and I REFUSE to go near those Sonic meets.

^^^^ Sonic is insane. Fun to see once, but ill never go back. Too much stupidity and the cops always get called.

Thank God somebody worth a shit got this car. I live in the roxboro/Durham area and no 1 up here knows a Damn thing about s13/14/15. Do this car some justice man! And congrats!

what sonic is the action at? i havent been cruising since high school. I recently finished my 240sx and thought about taking it out one weekend night. where is the scene in WS, im over in greensboro?

I met some friends in High Point last weekend and some kids in a saturn followed me to ask me to join some fucking facebook group thing for 240s. He mentioned the sonic thing and I think it's the one on High Point Rd. I just moved to GSO so I don't know a whole lot of people in the area.

^^^^ Yep the Sonic on High Point Road is where the meets are. Every Thursday night. I dunno if your on 240 Nation or Triad Nissan Parts, but those are two Facebook pages that mostly Greensboro/High Point/Winston people inhabit. I hear there's a Nissan only meet near Guilford College that's less crazy than the Sonic meets but I've never been.

So, last night…
Apparently, someone thought that showing off on a bike would be cool. Speeds past cars doing “about 70-80 easily” (HP Rd. is 35mph), hits a MKIII VW (it is totaled now, I promise you judged against the pics on FB) and shatters both legs and his right arm/hand. 8 units of blood and in a coma. I will never go to this meet.

Damn that's terrible, definately won't be going to sonic. Does anyone ever go to the cookout in high point on n main?

I would be willing to bet that after this, NO ONE is going back to Sonic. It has been easily 12 years before I went to North Main in HP. There have been three street racing stings, one quite major, since then.

I remember that major one a few years back. Just curios if anyone went up there

And after that ordeal, Sonic on HP road is no more.
Not only that, the managers aren't even letting people with modified cars on the premises.

Im moving to charlotte soon but it seems like there aren't any good s chassis meets.

Yeah man. I was meeting a friend there for a photo shoot and figured id snap some photos while I was waiting.

Do any if y'all know of any good local meets? Don't know anyone with another s chassis trying to meet some people who appreciate a good car that's not a v8 haha
