Coupes or Fastbacks?...very contraversial, may have been covered
 

Ok, this may have been covered b4, but i wanna see everyones opinion.
i dont want to see which car is better, cuz everyone knows coupes are the ish!
but what i want to see is everyones opinion on which car they like better. :D

i like both.

if the 240 didn't come in a fastback, i couldn't own one.

being a great car is priority #2 for me. #1 is being able to haul all of my bass equipment with it - including my upright bass.

fastback just has more classic lines.. almost jaguar esque. The shape is what originally got me into 240z's.

i like the lines of the hatchback better. while i like the fronts of the silvia with the right front bumper,i cant stand the trunk.

I am split. The hatch looks good with the 180sx styled tails while the coupe looks good with the front conversion. I have the coupe but am looking into buying the hatch version as well.

I say coupe because I literally see at least 5 fastbacks a day and maybe 1 coupe a week.

IMO, the coupe is more of a modern hatch look, the old Z's are amazingly beautiful, especially for their age, and the 240SX hatch is nothing like them.

I have certain addictions when it comes to cars...

Hatchback(or fastback) is one of the biggest ones ! I absolutely LOVE the way the fastback S13 looks........to me its pointless to buy an S13 w/o getting the Fastback ! I've got a big ass infinity sub,stiffening cap,and bazooka amp and I still can carry most of my stuff too........although I do miss folding down the backseat w/my girlfreind...:mad: ......the things I must sacrifice for a nice stereo!

I love the hatchback,extremely passionate about it !

I think that coupes don't look right...too long of a night for the designers and too little coffee man,I don't think that thing looks right,to me its pointless to get an S13 w/o getting the FB

I don't want to offend anybody that owns a coupe,thats just my opinion.

fastback all the way. The coupes don't look that bad though, just not my style. I'm sure people can say the opposite.

I like the coupes better, I see so many fastbacks daily I get sick, besides, they look like they got a big bubbly ass out back.

I like the coupes. I have never been a fan of any fastback. They don't serve that much more utility than a coupe as far as I can tell. If you are driving it for performance, you don't need to carry crap anyway. Pointless. BTW this car was origionally marketed to women... not as race cars.

I would take either one, but i have to say definately the coupe :boink:

Fastbacks are cool, but for chassis strength I still say COUPE!!

+ if Koguchi drove a coupe every one would want coupes

I love both body styles as long as the coupe gets a silvia front end :coolugh:

I've grown to have a liking for the coupe with the Silvia front end and projectors oo_oo....but the FB is still my fav. :rawk:

coupes look better as a car.....then the fastback....stock or fixed up coupe has better lines.....with some nice fat fenders....damn the coupes look nice and they come with hud! haha ;)

Any 240sx is better than a Civic coupe or a Civic hatchback.... just my opinion though...

I own a fastback, although at first i was looking for a coupe, the look of the fastback has really grown on me

fastbacks rule. They have such an everlasting style to them. The coupe looks like a Stanza. Fastbacks were ahead of their time when they were made, reason why they sold so long in japan.

hey, i didnt like the s13 until i relized you can retrofit the front end for the coupe(long ago).
there is something about the rear side windows and C-pillars that just looks georgeous.
It also can look like an ugly-duck if done wrong, uglier than most cars are capable of: a very fine line........i like that!
