$65k worth of tools, cops no help
 

check this out, i live in cali... my cousin had his tools stolen from him, had $65k invested into tools from him and his dad. and now the guys is sellin it on craigslist... my cousin went to the cops and they wont do anything, how much crap is that... TOOLS trade???? or cash???.....


now i am gonna go buy them, and my cousin is gonna have a word with him in person...

yup, my cousin has pictures with all the stickers on it, with his dad standing right next to it, plus they all have his and his dad's initials on them with their driver's license numbers on the others

they said the guy showed them "hand written reciepts" from his dad, so they wouldnt even look at the tools to check for the markings

yeah, he doesnt show everything he is offering, i already called him my self and its all snap-on tools, and i have a small box my self with hardly anything in it, thats all snap on and i have $4k invested

you know what you should of asked the cops that you wanted to make sure that those recipts were legit... and you want the owner of the business to verify that those are his or her recipts.... I see that you got snap on so he had to of bought them through snap-on not some Don Sean Juan tool supplies...

he has the police report from when he filed them being missing plus recipts, they just wont look at them

I would go to the police or sheriffs department and ask to speak to higher Authority if they ask you what is this regarding about tell them its personal matter ....

People like this should get the hands they used to steal whatever they stole cut off. Can't take much from people when all you have is a set of nubs.

how did the stuff get stolen? and does the guy live far from your cousin?

have you gone to see if they have the same markings on them yet?

if they do, you should buy a couple tools fromt him then show the police that they have the same markings on them, they should be able to do something after that

that works too. but if cops cant do nothing than i rather take it into my own hands and release some evil on this fool.

to the op, be sure to bring pix, receipts and all the evidence you have to support you so the so call seller wont have anything to say. bring pix of how he broke into the house to get the tools too.

Call the guy set up in appointment to buy the tools. Call the police and say that you found who has your tools and that there trying to hurt you so your going to defend your self. They will send patrol cars very quickly. So cops get him and u get ur tools

i found out who it was and I BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF HIM
sure i diddnt get my shit back but he will remember that beating next time he trys to steal again

any update? sucks tho that the cops went up to question him and didnt do anything. so he knows that someone is already on to him, he could easily go hide somewhere and stop posting these online, hopefully you got a home address and names etc.
