So my wife and I were watching this documentary about UFO's and Aliens. And out of all the footage that could have possibly been a hoax. This is what surprised us.

To put into perspective the size of our Milky Way Galaxy alone if you were to shrink our solar system (from the sun to Pluto) to the size of a quarter the Milky Way would be the size of the U.S. from the Mississippi west! It is estimated that the Milky Way contains 100 to 400 BILLION stars.

The universe is simply too vast to not contain other life.

i actually saw something that confirmed my beliefs that we arent alone.

me and 2 friends were driving along side the 5 freeway at about 6 pm, and i see 3 jets flying REALLY fast in fox formation at a pretty low altitude toward a pretty big storm cloud. this is odd because i've NEVER seen jets in this area. i turn around and ask my buddy if he sees them too, which he does, right about then we see the storm cloud light up toward the bottom and we see this big gold orb come out of it while being circled by a smaller gold orb.
I tell you, we watched it for a good 3 seconds before it darted into another cloud formation and out of sight. the 3 jets speed up and follow it into the clouds. this was the day that recent february storm finally ceased so there were a ton of clouds in the sky. an hour later, the sky was clear. not a fuckin cloud to be seen.

I think around 96ish, I saw something like this on one of those UFO shows that Fox used to play. It was an implant on someone's leg. Same deal, it was an unknown object that was connected to the person's nerves. It was difficult to remove as the object was moving inside the patient's body as the surgical instruments got close.

A friend and I once saw a blue-ish silver orb, and taken right from Tool's "Rosetta Stoned", it was quite literally "Cutting right angle donuts on a dime"... Then it took off...

A few months ago I was hanging out at a bonfire with my family and neighbors. I was tired nd the fire was hot on my face so I was looking up. All of a sudden I see this bright ass white light fly past. It went from behind me to out of my site in front of me in probably 2 seconds. Wasn't a shooting star, because I saw it leave into the horizon. Plus it was much to low to the ground and too large. Sadly I was the only one that saw it.

NOTHING moves that fast here on earth. Unless its a space shuttle, and it wouldn't look like that, nor would it be that low or take the route it did. Plus if it was a shuttle or of its liking, it would have been on the news for sure.

my personal belief, however, is different from a lot of peoples. most people, including scientists, think that other planets must be EXACTLY like earth for life to exist. but in my personal opinion, i dont believe that to be completely true.

just because we can survive it doesnt mean others can. and just because we cant survive it doesnt mean others cant. think about the organisms that live at the very bottom of the ocean floor. they can survive the EXTREME pressure of the ocean, yet we cant even build anything that can. (at least to my knowledge. correct me if im wrong please). or for another example, an artic animal can not survive in the dessert.

thats why i think that just because the planet isnt exactly like ours, doesnt mean it cant inhabit life.

Same story about me while driving at night. It was as big as those circle lights of the upside down L shape light poles but it was obviously up high in the sky. It appeared out of nowhere and flew quicky from for a sec and disappeared. My brother was in the passenger seat and saw it with me.

Two weekends ago I was up in Palmdale, across the street from Plant 42, at the Blackbird Air Park. There was a SR-71 Pilot there and I chatted with him for a while. Apparently this guy was responsible for writing/editing the flight manual for that plane. Even though it's readily available these days, he says there are still 8-10 pages that are flat out missing due to certain information STILL being classified.
The blackbird is near 50 years old now and was built using technology of the time. It's been retired for almost 15 years now. I find it amazing that there is info about it that is still not suitable for public knowledge.

With that being said, and knowing how simple everyday technology has evolved over the past 5 decades, I cannot possibly imagine what's being created today in the military/top secret realm.

Another fun fact was that he wouldn't directly answer my question about whether or not he operated out of Groom Lake. (even though that info is factual these days)

I was watching Nova on PBS (doubt anybody else watches that lol) and it was an episode about how the typical UFO (hovering/floating discs) was initially developed as new aircraft by the government, and the alien controversy was simply to cover up the developing technology.

Not to sound too skeptical, but this thread is hilarious. My take on things is like this. I do not doubt that there is some form of life somewhere out there in this HUGE universe.

Likewise it dosent mean that, there is or isnt INTELLIGENT life out there.
The notion that "aliens" come to our planet to do anything is utterly rediculous in the manner that we percieve.

Travel all this way to stick stuff up our butts, put on light shows "guide us down a certain path". Everything that i have seen as proof of intelligent life not of this earth - on this planet - is something i truely and honestly belive that the government couldve came up with.

I mean, if they wanted to hide aliens from us im 120% positive on the fact that they could do it. I think they like the idea of us civilians playing fantasy with what we have seen/heard, instead of the real truth getting out there.


Flying suacers, faster than light travel, alternative energy sources not known to the public, space travel un-beknownst to what the civilian market currently has....Is all stuff well within our grasp...And to think that the government within all of its infinite power couldnt pay and hoarde the most brilliant minds out there to only work on figuring this out in plain site of the public, is not far from reality. And it isnt hard to do considering half the public thinks its the work of little green men.

Basically, unless ET drops his butt in front of the whitehouse and makes a speech on how great flying in space is, then i dont see the point in speculating on things we cant explain. Although i wont stop myself from beliveing that our wonderful goverment couldnt be behing the "mysterious butt plugs" and "flashy lights" we all see. Not after knowing how the DOD works with keeping and exposing its own secrets.

Btw for you folks that like unexplainable stuff in the sky, you should read up on your history with the battle of los angles. Not the movie, but the incident off the coast of los angles where lights were seen in the sky.

Folks thought they were the enemy attacking and the army put on a big show of fireworks trying to shoot it down..only thing, is that the "thing" they were aiming at was too fast for them to hit...and this was in the 1940's before jet engines were even introduced to the world...

Every ancient civilization on every continent has the same story of "gods" coming from space to create "man". If you read the bible in this light- especially the old testament- it actually makes sense. Even many of the so-called anomalies in the scientific world can be explained in this way. (skeletons of giants, "missing link"s, 'star children'...)
If you believe this theory however, it makes modern religion obsolete- which, as you may guess, would strip power and incredible amounts of money from many institutions... That is why religions are based on "FAITH": "belief in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence"

Don't know if anyone has seen any of this yet, but this is much more recent. Not sure when it began, but enormous objects, the size of planets, have been caught orbiting/flying around our sun.

Jamie Maussan explains that minutes after NASA released these photographs, they were immediately removed from the internet as well. Cover up? Who knows! Some of the objects, the size of Jupiter or even larger, appear to be metallic since there is a visible reflection of the sun's light against the objects.

He also explains that it is possible that these objects are/belong to other intelligences visiting our solar system using our sun as a dimensional portal as a means of transportation and also as a source of energy...
