I really liked Sky Crawlers...I recommend it for folks who like WW2 era combat aircraft. It's set in an alternate world where pilots fight as a game to pacify the public. Character designs were not detailed on purpose, to show their dehumanization. The mechanical design and aerial dogfights, however, are incredibly detailed.

Oh yeah, if you're talking about Gankutsuou, that one is sweet...some people might be turned off by the visual style but it was awesome for me. The music in it was great..a lot of classical like Chopin, Schumann, Rachmaninoff.

i couldnt really get into shiki i tried but after a couple eps lost interest. steins gate was one of the best ive seen in a good while, may rewatch it at work tomorrow lol

Yeah shiki starts out kinda slow. through out the whole anime it looked like evil would win till the very end lol then it just got ugly.

I haven't seen it yet. Have you checked out Guilty Crown and Persona 4 yet? Persona looks ify but Guilty Crown looks like it might be bad ass.

not too bad, had me cracking up a few times. The only reason I watched it was because the when I read the description it reminded me of gantz. Completely different yet still pretty decent.

its basically the same as family guy. or the simpsons. or futurama. or south park. but i think u get the point.

there is no age limit to watching anime. not to mention ur only 20. i cant stand when people think just because they pass the age of 18, theyre a full blown adult. you might legally be an adult, but imho, you're still a kid until you hit the ripe age of about 25. and im saying all this and im only 19.

and atleast the japanese can come up with good story lines, where as here in america all hollywood has been doing lately is recreating old movies ideas and fucking destroying them in the process.

sorry, but that is just one of my few buttons people can press.
if you think its ok to watch family guy, then there should be no problem in watching anime unless its pokemon or digimon or something like that. THOSE shows are pointed towards kids.

however, if u think its ok to watch family guy, but not anime -because its anime aka cartoons by japanese people, then thats honestly just being discriminatory and racist.
