i am about to install these and the description says they use double h1 bulbs and that the harness needs to be modified. has anyone done this and how difficult is it. are there any parts that i need?

The highbeam is a different plug. If you bought the full light with harness just cut/splice, it's two wires, or find a 97-98 you can cut the plug off of.
