s13 power steering pump bearing
 

bearing on my P/S Pump is making noise, trying to replace just the bearing. Has anyone done this and does anyone have a part number for the bearing. Car is a daily driver so Im trying to get as little down time as possible with pulling the pump apart and matching up a new bearing.

i would just bypass pump for a little, take the pump apart (its a quick take apart/rebuild as long as you keep track of all parts) and go to napa or somewhere comparable and matchup a bearing!

have you checked the return line going from the pump to the reservoir? I read on another thread that the lines can get old and kinked, starving the pump of fluid and causing a whining noise

Just order a bearing the same size. Measure ID, OD, and Width.
