New Server!! - Phase 1
 

Just in time for the holidays, a brand spankin new server for all at Zilvia.net!

Thats right, we are fast again!

Phase 1 of the upgrade is complete. You are now rocking the new Dual Woodcrest 5130 Xeons with 4GB RAM and RAID 1 + RAID 10 SAS.

Phase 2 will equate to more speed as the old server is now inactive and will be rebuilt to become the new front end web server, leaving the new beast of a server to be a dedicated SQL engine.

Its long overdue but finally here!

We have the Zilvia WebMail application up and running temporarily so you can go in and get your mail delivered since the last time you logged in.

The system is not receiving new incoming mail and we suggest that you notify your contacts to email you at another email address.

Soon, we have been playing with some CMS stuff during this time and might decide to use one of them, although it wont be perfect it will give us dynamic content from users.

so when will phase 2 be complete? or a timeframe for it? Because i heard a rumor that once the server is upgraded all the way, pinking will be back, which i cant wait to see neme pinked for random reasons, haha, j/k man

We're working on it right now....don't want to put an exact date on it since we (WeST and me) are also pretty busy with our jobs, but we've made significant progress and it should be happening soon.

Punxva - since you are so interested in pinking, we'll use you as a test :D
