hatch rear wiper issue
 

sooo..i have an s13 fastback with the rear wiper.
and either i'm missing a part or something isn't installed correctly because the rear wiper sticks up a little or the hole in the hatch is a little too big..i dont know..

what happens is, when it rains, water will get into the hatch through that hole.
then it'll create a small puddle inside the hatch panel (so in between the hatch and the panel attached to the hatch will have water).
so when i open my hatch after it rains..water will pour into my trunk.. :bash:

anybody know what to do or..have a rear wiper on their hatch they can take a picture of so i know how its supposed to look? would really appreciate it. thanks.

There is a rubber grommet that goes there. I might have mine laying around but it's probably something you can get at Nissan or at a junkyard.

...i also noticed theres a bracket for the license plate...i dont have that either...loll
no wonder my plate rattles when i hit 80mph...:picardfp:

I don't have that bracket and I've never seen it on any other car. Try some different bolts / washers or put some foam behind the plate.

i put new bolts, washers, and even stuck little silicone padding to the bumper to stop the rattling. it helped a lot but..will hear it occasionally..lol.
