Blinker Help!!
 

Hello Zilvia! I'll just start off by saying I am wiring illiterate lol, and yes I searched. The previous owner of my 1989 coupe did a wire tuck and I have no clue where the plug is. I have to rewire the driver side turn signal (the three wires to the bulb). Can I cut three wires from the stalk and extend them for the bulb? The input would be great! I don't need the right side since that one is all good.

Find wiring schematics and start learning...no one can tell you exactly what's wrong with your car.

Can you not trace any wires from the blinker backwards?

Also, are we talking front, or rear of the car?

I finally figured it out. I just needed a reference to go by so I went to the junkyard and found what colors they were. I traced the wires from my own fuse box and found they had been cut about six inches away. I extended the three wires and now we are golden. For anyone else who may need it: left blinker is red/blue stripe with grey dots, green/blue stripe, and black.
