What I thought would be a nice day turned out to be scumbags of SGV meet up. My 240sx was stolen from the lot in front of the asian community.

Car is a black 180sx. Full JDM Aero.

License plate - 6YWM526
No front license plate

Wheels are Silver SSR Professor SP1s. 18s.
Fronts are 18x9 +20 with cheap china tires
Rears ares 18x10.5 +12 on Falken 912 235/40/18

STock KA Motor. Auto transmission, quiet exhaust, eveything stock performance wise.

Tan interior, very noticable custom reupolstered front seats. Reclinable

Stock steering wheel, ripped back leather tan seats

Kouki tail lights, lower trim is unpainted flat black

Noticeable bird poop stain on front driver fender

Headlights are at 10% sleepy eyes when kept down, has ebay housings so lighting direction is terrible.

Damn, so what happened??? You went to a meet? How'd you lose the car exactly?

Went to the Asian street market in arcadia, santa anita race track. Was parked in the lot, 2-3 hours after it was stolen.


Though it would be a community of asians gathering to enjoy the asian culture. Who thought that we would steal from each other.. Fking scums.

Update : Just got a call from a officer saying they found the car. The rims are missing. Having project kics lug nut doesnt help if i have the dam lock key in the car....:duh:

Check your local craigslist form time to time. Also check bigger (city) areas on craigslist too. Hope you find your rims soon!

Picked up the car yesterday, had to pay the impound $294 for someone stealing my car..

Rims are gone, rear quarter panel got dented, rear valences pulled, front fender seemed liked someone pulled it up by hand, front bumper damaged, they took the radio faceplate but not the radio (Can you be anymore skumbag?), few personal items and tools

S#!T like this discourages me to rebuild again.. new car or rebuild, dunno

Did they even search for finger prints?

they left the car on stands?

I looked up on it, chances of the thieves leaving a good print on the car to scan is unlikely. I just lost the rims, plus i have no papers for them so the police cant take this far. I rather do some investigating myself, SP1s in socal is pretty rare. Im can probably count under 10 cars have them plus each of us have unique offsets and size.

the tow guy told me they left it sitting on its frame...

Glad you got your car back. I understand you are mad and very upset, but that's a very bold statement to make claim. Just because you were at an Asian community event doesn't mean ONLY Asians were allowed to attend. Nevertheless, I hope you find those scumbags. I'll be on the lookout on CL.

Where did you hear or read this?? It helps if you have one good latent print to search in the PD Automated Fingerprint/Palmprint ID System, (AFIS)... That's all it takes to bring their world crashing down around them. Even a bad print can still ID a scumbag..
You may not be able to search it in AFIS but you can still figure out who's involved. All the detective needs to do is get you a name and an arrest history. You pull the print card on file & compare it to the latent print recovered from your car...and if it matches...someone's got some 'splainin' to do!!!

Wish i read this the same day i picked up my car. I was just glad they found the car plus I didnt want it to be impounded any longer.. the detective told me it would take 1-2 week to come dust it and also it has to be kept at the impound. So ill have to pay for the rates of everyday it sits there waiting for the detective to come.

sorry to hear about your car man, that fucking sucks. I really like yours too. The dent in the quarter panel isn't bad, it can be pulled paintless. But I'm super noid about that shit too, I have kicks lugs and normally bring the lock with me when I go out just in case. But for the most part I'd rather be stuck on the side of the road and have to go home to get the key than to leave my car for a few hours to come to that.

Really? o_O' When my EG got stolen (granted a neighbor found it so it was never impounded) the cop dusted the car for prints on the spot.

While I'm stoked for you that you got your car back and it is a sick car btw, why would you say it's a 180sx? It clearly isn't, you have a usdm 240sx that is left hand drive with some jdm aero... That's like putting all of the fancy hemi badges and other shit on the V6 charger and saying your hemi charger got jacked.
