moving to washington state
 

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting in a forum ever so I apologize if this is the incorrect place to put this thread. I have a 1990 red 240sx fastback auto :barf: soon to be black 5spd once I get the funds. Ok so my situation is that my mom recently became terminally ill and currently I am in city college of san francisco. Since my mom was my sole provider I am moving to my granparents house near issaquah for a year until I have enough saved to move back to SF since its so :fawk: -in expensive. Ok anyways I digress :blah: . So I am looking for performance/drift shops that cater to 240sx's with jdm or cdm parts and accressories that is reliable or recommendable amongst you guys and girls. Now I was there during the winter and I only saw ONE 240 and it had some chrome dubcaps and an abundance of serioulsy riced out hondas which made me sad as well. You guys gotta come out of the woodwork, lol j/k. Also does anyone know where I can get canadian 240sx parts in canada for a good price? I will be moving when my school term is over so thats like june to mid july. Also lookin for 240sx meets! Well thanks for your time guys hope I didn't offend anyone or bore anyone as well :zzz: .

This part is irrelevant but has anyone gone to a community college in the puget sound area, bellevue cc, whereever and transferred to a U.C. such as davis(its in california)?

i moved out of the seattle area when 3 years ago, and the only shops i ever saw were rice-oriented or at least honda oriented. with the recent drift coverage, however, there very well may be something now. i'm considering moving back up there, so i'd like to find out if there's anything too.

for canadian parts, pdm is located in vancouver, which is a little over 2 hours from seattle.

as for colleges, i transfered from central washington university to csu hayward, if that helps

i took a couple classes at BCC while in HS and transferred them to RPI (school in NY) Check with the UCD administration to see if things transfer. Its often a pain in the ass, but they end up taking most of the credits. There are several Z shops up there, and japanese automotive stuff. Its still generally has good nissan support. I broke down in Detroit once... that place is TERRIBLE. west coast is a dream in comparison

Right on i'm driftaholic and rb240sx for the info I will check out davis website tonight. Yea detroit is kinda DOMESTICated if you know what I mean lol. 2hrs isnt that bad, just liek going to sacramento from SF. If I find out anything about shops I'll PM you driftaholic. Have you gone to the shop in santa rosa? they got alot of stuff for 240sx the guy said. I was corresponding to one of the owners and was planning to go up there but my situation happened so my moola went poof. they were doing an rb25det swap in a s13 chassis when I was inquiring about motors. their site is www.finelineimports.net

me and my friends finally went to racetune yesterday and we are definitely go back there, next chance we get. Right on Racetune and Frank for being so helpful and welcoming!

right on guys for the help, My financial aide for school finally came through so it looks like I get to stay for a while now. yay sunny california! haha well ok i guess other than that, me and my friends are gonna post up a 240 shell as well as alot of oem parts within this month or next month so look around for it!
