I'm an extremely long ways off from every doing a conversion, but I was wondering where the best place to buy jdm parts for the sil80 conversion would be. I would appreciate any input here as I cant really find a good site. I have heard the entire thing can be done for less than 1000 but cant seem to find a place for less than 1800.

I spent quite a lot of time using the search function that everyone rants about, can't seem to find anything. shit I can only find like 4 places on google!

but yeah, I'm more just looking for someone reputable that you guys would reccommend, the LAST thing I want is another person telling me to search. :goyou:

I was in the same position at one time. I kept an eye open on eBay, buying piece by piece. That way I found the best components available. You don't need a "kit" if you're swapping an S13. Just get headlights, headlight supports, fenders, bumper and a hood (or cheap out & glass in the pop-up areas of the stock hood).

Do the S13.4 conversion. There is a writeup in the general tech forum and a vendor selling the conversion fender kit in the advertiser forum :)

I never considered the s13.4, but I have to say it looks HOT! but im just worried it wont look good on a hatchback, what do you guys think?

The cheapest way to do it is to pick them up off another member. R&D factory has been selling them pretty cheap though recently. They are in the advertiser section.

I don't know. I put one on my fastback for practicality, not looks.

I agree the search feature is weak on this site. I think it's mainly because the forums don't have many specific categories (like 240sxforums.com).
