Rotarded Cali Jreamin Vert Build
 

I got this car a couple years back and was trying to maintain it as a clean OEM daily reliable Vert.

But I thought hey, its a vert and a 240 after all, might as well have some fun with it.


Currently in Japan so I can't work on it right now but i will be wrenchin' on it everytime i get a chance to go back to the states. <3
I'm rather busy with Life here so I will slowly be updating this thread with pics i already have with spare time I can make.

I was extremely fortunate enough to have a good friend who is doing a 350 swap on his FC and struck an amazing deal on his 13b. A huge thanks to him.

A side by side with the KA24DE and 13b.
With the shifter in the same location, the 13b is going to be considerably ''shorter'' which is nice to know. It'll keep the engine tucked in tight towards the firewall for an more idealistic weight distribution.

this is so cool, love it all ready there is a place in ohio that has done this with a s14, they also have a sick nasty n/a rotary. if its the s5 it has 5 more hp to, torque on the other hand.....

Thank you. Yeah it might not be the most extravagant build but I’m trying to do best with what I’ve got. The pics will come in time:)

Always thought I’d be an interesting combo, and hopefully the moderators will understand the situation I'm in and will not lock it. Consider it more of a long term build.

I have nowhere near their knowledge and experience but I’ll do my best.
For reference, my engine was taken from a ’86 GXL S4.

Sorry for the disappointment but im actually not :/… but I do have a friend that people say looks like Matsumoto Jun(guy who plays domyouji). Haha

Not a day goes by that I don’t’ wish I could work on it.

It was actually timing and luck, when I came back stateside in February for spring break( Japanese spring break is from February and March, I know weird) and , My friend showed me he that he had started a 350 swap on his FC. Then I blew my HG, so it seemed to work out perfectly.

Also I’ve always wanted to do a 13b swap on my car.

Hope you will put a turbine. Stock 13b is... ish a bad idea for power and gaz

confused here, couldnt you just buy an rx7 convertible? what type of water have you guys been drinking lately?

NA rotaries can make well over 200hp with the right tune and porting.

Even though you got a killer deal on your FC N/A 13B.. wouldn't it make more sense to do either 13BT or 13B-REW ? Because you are spending great time and $ to make that swap to begin with.

S4 or S5 13BTs are very inexpensive these days...

But like you said.. it is your thing. I am sure you already though about it?

Stock 13BT makes just about 200hp with probably 1/4 of cost of making N/A 13B 200hp.

soembody obviously had an early 4/20 when they were considering engines for their engine swap.
