I went for the 95 w/ the swap and be less poor. That way you'd possibly have a little more extra money in case something ever happened.

i vote go for the 95 and be less poor, until you severely upgrade it with the money you saved from not doing the 98

INGS kits look sweeeet...and yes, when I get my kit, it will be molded also. I just want to keep the whole car in the same family (240SX), that's all.

If you're just going to swap the front end to S15 anyway AND change the motor, why buy the 97/98? It will be of no benefit to you except less miles on the body.
