Normally I'd agree, but most of the shrouding jobs I've seen on Zenki retrofits suck ass. This doesn't look too bad, but if you're going to stick with halogens, you may as well just keep the stock setup paired with clear lenses...

True! Most look like shit but I've seen a few that looked good. I guess it just depends who does them.

I still can't decide if I want to stay Zenki or go Kouki with my front. I like the Kouki front but the Zenki flows much better with the rear end of the car.

If I stay Zenki, I'll most likely retrofit TSX projectors with shrouds and do a bi xenon hid setup.

Look at the definitive lighting thread. Much better options have been posted there by myself and others.

Sadly that is the quality of jobs you get from about 80% of cars that Japanese ppl modify.

Especially wiring, I have yet to see any wire job done by a Japanese dude that's not been a total fucking rats nest of wires.

I have some retrofits already just wanting to do jzx100 but looking to get as much info before I hack a clean set of headlights

Search S13project under usernames. It's his Zenki build. He has a few pics of the process to give you a general idea on what to do, but it's not a step-by-step by any means.
