I'm a member of Maxima.org and there are a bunch of Max owners in the area that have been kickin around the idea of starting a Maxima club. I think it's a great idea, but I saw the turn-out of the All out Nissan meet a few weeks ago and I thought it would be a cool idea to see if there was any interest in an all out Nissan club. We could still have our seperate groups like the Sentra and Maximas and Altimas and the like, but we could also get together and hang as a big giant group. This makes way for planning big trips to the track and having BBQ's and cruises all kinds of stuff. I have already posted on Altimas.net and B15Sentra.net about this and have got a good response, but I'm trying here as well. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

BTW the club name would be "theDriven". The Sentra guys really like the name and so do the Maxima guys and I think it runs well for a Nissan group since the new slogan is Driven. Hope to hear back from some of you! Thanks again!

That's not a bad idea at all. I was also at the last meet, and I have to agree with you; there were more than enough cars to start a club only with that turnout. I'll definitely think about this and get back to you.

I'm going to work on changing the collage on the splash screen. &nbsp;It doesn't have all the Nissan cars, as you mentioned. &nbsp;The 240 and 200 and NX, as well as the SUVs. &nbsp;Thanks for the heads up.

What time?

It will be meeting at 6PM and hanging for a bit, then getting some food an Uno's at 7PM. &nbsp;East for a bit then talk about the club for a bit and maybe go to another place to chill or break up from Uno's. &nbsp;That's the game plan thus far.

Glad to hear that you can come S13Grl! &nbsp;I am looking for some good shots of a 240 to add to the splash screen. &nbsp;As soon as I find something quality, I'll add it.

Oh I'm not saying that they can't participate, but perhaps they won't get all the benefits of being an active club member. &nbsp;At the meeting, I'll explain more about what I mean and everyone will have a chance to give their opinions. &nbsp;There isn't a set schedule at this point. &nbsp;I am hoping to have monthly or bi-monthly meeting to discuss possible event ideas and to get events that are supported, planned and worked out. &nbsp;Things like that. &nbsp;I'll explain in more detail that night and we will have time for further discussion.

I think that for right now this is going to be a very infomal club. &nbsp;I had made plans to do te whole shot, By-laws and a board and all that, but I think for right now I'm going to be very flexible. &nbsp;I will be posting info on this board pertaining to meets that we have scheduled and also I will have the info on the website. &nbsp;They will probably be on the order of cruises and going to car shows. &nbsp;Maybe the Autoshow, Hot Import Nights and other stuff like that. &nbsp;No pressure to come, but if you can that would be great! &nbsp;I'll explain in more detail this weekend and I'll post some more for you guys to know what's going on. &nbsp;Thanks for your support!

Hey Irena, long time no talkie! &nbsp;Well, I think we are gonna be getting back together again for a night of fun and BOWLING!! &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;How does the 8th or 9th of December sound? &nbsp;I know someone that works and basically runs an alley out by me (Arlington Heights Lanes), so getting some lanes would not be hard at all. &nbsp;Do any of you know of lanes around you? &nbsp;Like I said I'm well versed in the alleys around my area, but I'm thinking that moving our meetings around to different areas would be a good idea. &nbsp;Also let me know what days/nights would be good for you.
