help-car wont start
 

My car wont start...It will roll start but when I try to start with the key it will click and power will come on and I can hear the fuel pump but no power. The car is a 97 240 with 168k on it. It was converted by the previous owner from auto > manual. I swapped the clutch relay with another identical relay but no luck. I put a screwdriver to touch the black wire, and black and white wire( the two closest wires to the driver seat, but still nothing. The car ran almost all day then I washed it and I thought it could have been water getting in to the passenger side of the car where the seibon hood has a slight gap but Im not sure that has anything to do with it. After the car was push started I turned the key, but did not get any horrible noises from the starter. I was looking for the clutch switch but there are no wires coming from the clutch, and before the car would start in neutral without the clutch in. Open to all suggestions and probably criticsm. Hate all you want because it will refresh the thread.

Your starter is most likely dead. You can try and tap it with a rubber hammer to see if it will free up the brushes other wise you will need a new one.
