S13 Digital Climate Control - What Am I Missing?
I bought a DCC off of a user on here a while back and it is coming the time in my swap to begin considering everything I have to wire up.
From what I have read using articles on NICOclub and other various sites, I need things such as sun sensors and many other things. However, I'm not exactly sure what I have, nor what I'm going to be connecting it to. Does anyone have a more comprehensive DIY for hooking up the DCC and a complete list of sensors I will need? I plan on having fully functional A/C, Heat, etc. http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...77610137_n.jpg |
You need the control unit, blower motor resistor, the tube with the cabin temp sensor in it, the ambient air temp sensor, sunload sensor, blend door actuator & linkage, and DCC sub harness.
The info is out there; and there are GREAT writeups with pics to help on Nico and here too IIRC. Search again. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer and had no trouble with this mod. |

Can you by chance tell me what I'm missing here from my picture? I'm really not sure exactly what I have as far as what is needed. I basically bought this one day with the "this would look cooler than my analog setup". I've only done about 30 minutes of research on the install and wiring, but I will devote a little more time, especially if you're saying you found some nice writeups. Thank you for your quick response! |
YouTube. There is a full tutorial. Very helpful. Mine works minty.
