Free photography services in the South Bay Area (Norcal)
 

So I've decided to take my photography hobby a bit more seriously. I'm just looking for new and interesting things to photograph.

I'm willing to travel to a certain extent to photograph whatever it is that you want.

I'm free after 7 or 8 on weekdays and all weekend.

The catch is that it must something I think might be worth my time to photograph. Something that I could add to my portfolio.

For example, please don't ask me to drive out to your house to photograph the flowers in your mom's garden or whatever.

I don't have an assistant and will most likely be working by myself.

You supply the subject (Mom, family, GF, car, friend's car, whatever), and let me know where and when.

I accept food, and gas money, and tips are welcome too haha.

I don't have a problem with this, but I'd recommend you get model releases for anyone's picture you take, and don't charge any markup for prints they ask for (beyond paying for shipping, etc).
Don't use this a a 'no sitting fee' kinda deal.

I love photography and I'm just looking to help people out with a service that most people generally would have to pay for.

Just an FYI to everyone out there, I don't have a method or means to produce prints yet, but I'm working on that.

I'm willing to license digital copies of my work for non commerical use though if you want to get your own prints.

same here dude. i did a few parties already for free also did my cousins wedding and other grand family gathering. and some of my friends lil car meet the ended up being a photoshoot.

I can, but not in that lol. I've had it since Jan. 08 and it has only 800 miles on it, and 600 of those are to the shop and back. I may be going to a race at infineon or laguna coming up but I'll be with my dad in his cobra which is also cool. Maybe we can work something out, if not then no biggie.

daniel, not sure if you're interested but there's gonna be another autocross event in marina, ca on june 7th. itll help you get more pictures of cars and what not.

isnt de anza having an autocross event soon?

tougemiata, Sac is a bit far for me. It's like a 2hr drive. Unless you can somehow make it down here and we can figure out a great place to shoot then I'm not entirely sure it will be worth it for the both of us. I'm pretty sure you don't want to put miles on that thing. It's gorgeous.

If I go, it'll probably be for my own enjoyment over anything else. I've got a shit ton of photos of just cars already.

If I do a car photoshoot it's probably going to be just to help out whomever wants it.

I want to start shooting other things than just automotive and landscape for once haha. I think every photographer needs to diversify in order to learn and grow.

Ok cool...no worries. I may be going on a run later next month up to alice's resturant with my dad. I think he is taking his miata and I am taking his corba. Maybe we can get together then. Get roads and cool scenery.

would you be interested in shooting a Honda Civic? i am trying to sell it and some quality photos would definitely help!

yea, whenever is fine, i actually need to pick up a new fender on the 15th and repaint my bumper (damn possum). so probably around the end of this month, does that work for you?

So I picked up some new lighting equipment and now have these two studio strobes available as well as access to a full professional studio.
