King of doing it wrong. LOOK AT MY SPACERS!

http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...psrvqf045l.jpg

Hey guys I've attached some pics to show you what I'm trying to deal with, circled in red are the spots im getting major rub on the back tires, and on the front wheels also circled in red is where my tires are rubbing very hard on my front fenders when i turn, I have the little over fenders shown in the last pic, but I dont really wanna just jump in and start cutting my fenders without some tips or advice, because even if i do cut them, the front wheels are rubbing on mount points for the front bumper kit and the side skirts where they bolt on. Its already sitting pretty high, I just want some tips on how to make it work at this height, and what you guys would do to make it go lower, without changing tires every 50miles from cutting lol. I do wanna keep this offset though.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE RUDE MOVE ALONG, CUZ IM BORED OF REK'IN AMATEUR TROLLS 2EZ KTHXBAI

Remove your 50mm spacers add a little camber and that should fix your issue.

Why run that much of a spacer for some what looks like 8.5J wheels just to use those flares?

If you had some 11J wheel I could understand that.

Looks retarded.

silviaks2nr 07-28-2015 10:14 AM

Why do you have huge ass spacers? It looks retarded. Tires are way too tall for a 240 that low too. This is another case of don't do something unless you know what the fuck you're doing.

its a 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rears

Sileighty_85 07-28-2015 10:44 AM

those pics are very deceiving then. regardless if you have to run flares cuz you are using 50mm spacers it looks stupid.

ok but im asking for suggestions on how to make it work, dont care what you think of how it looks because it doesn't even have the side skirts or bumper on if i wanted to know how you think it looks I would ask what people think, you don't see me looking at your avatar and saying your face looks stupid right? If you don't have anything constructive to say or an answer to what im looking for they why bother commenting? post count? god... :picardfp:

Sileighty_85 07-28-2015 11:07 AM

I already told you, remove the 50mm spacers and add some camber.

Bumper and side skirts aren't gonna make that look any better.

post count? That means nothing to me.

Im trying to help you from destroying a perfectly nice S13 and making you look like an idiot when ppl look at your setup.

greddy2die 07-28-2015 01:30 PM

Ughhh no please not Florida, there are already plenty of other people here ruining it for the small minority of us not doing it wrong.

5280VertDET 07-28-2015 01:30 PM

Here's the deal dude, you will have to cut your panels AND get over fenders or flares.

End of story.

turbo2nr 07-28-2015 01:41 PM

Give RWB a call and see how to stack spacers to get the "look" you want to achieve.

ILoveJDM 07-28-2015 01:48 PM

another classic case of I saw it on the internet, and I have zero idea of how to build cars.

deolio 07-28-2015 01:53 PM

you can't leave it as-is and not have any rubbing. contrary to popular belief, offset isn't everything. remove the dumbfuck spacers, pull the fenders (please have a professional do it), lower the car, and add some camber.

1on1 07-28-2015 01:55 PM

Don't bother putting flares on stock body. Car will not flow. Also, the car you posted is...whatever and I don't understand the rear lip spoiler when he has a gt wing....but its just an opinion.

I would rather drive a stock body s-chassis with wheels and rolled fenders before you destroy your rear qtr panel (assuming the other side is fine).

If you're thinking of getting any aero in the future, I suggest going with sileighty_85's suggestion until you acquire the pieces so you can look at it and decided to go with it or not.

Take the advice or not, this is what you wanted.

This is the problem with people these days. Are you actually bragging about using spacers? wtf

People aren't hating because they're jealous, your car actually is terrible.

they will fit. seems like most ppl here is mad about my spacers and wheels and cant understand simple english and hate my idea of a car rather than suggest something constructive, if i wanted to have the rolled fender look like every 240 fanboi I wouldnt have gotten the spacers or these wheels. So i guess i need to state myself again.

I intend on keeping this width/offset
Ride height - no it doesnt need to be fanboi slammed nor do i want it to be
I will be using the z fenders in the pic or rb v2 fenders
suggestions on what to do plz n thks

SPACERS OR NOT MY WHEELS STILL HIT THE FENDERS
By reading some of the responses I can tell some guys aren't very intelligent, few helpful comments, but seems as if everyone is in tldr mode or just a lot of jealousy b/c ppl here can barely afford rotas or battles, I'll figure something out I'm very smart. Well then the answer is simple. Mock up the flares. Cut accordingly. Whatever it hits, relocate, or remove accordingly.

- Your wheels are 9.5F and 10.5R? Nothing new, even on a stock-bodied S13.
- Calls the rest of the community fanboiz but wants to rock overfenders so hard he bought stupidly priced spacers. Pretty sure overs are the most fan-fucking-fukkboi thing you can do in recent times.

Thanks, problem is,its hitting in the spots on the front wheels right on that body line, basically exactly where the front bumper mounts, and where the side skirt mounts (you know the 2 small holes about 6 inches apart vertically) so if i cut this I'm not sure what to do next, i could make new mounting points, but them my side skirts will be too long you know what I mean and my bumper wont fit right, it will be pulled too far forward, so this is basically where im kinda stumped.

What kind of suspension work have you done?

PeaceOnesxWai 07-28-2015 05:15 PM

What are your wheel specs? What are your tire specs? Spacer sizes? This info would have given half the members here a solid answer for you besides your pics. If you had posted this on your very first post this would have gone differently.

There are countless threads that give you info on wheel fitment but yet you want to be spoon fed and take constructive criticism negatively. Im gonna say this is not the forum for you.

Only thing I've done to it myself are new coil overs to replace the old tiens the rears were blown so I just tossed all 4. But there are aftermarket control arms and tension rods the whole works, I thought about changing the caster so the wheels come more toward the rear wheels, but then the wheels will just hit the back of the fender, and this is where I started to think about the rocketbunny v2 fenders as you just cut a whole hunk of fender out and slap those puppies on.

Its not about being spoon fed, in my original unedited post and several times in the thread, I specify that I don't plan on changing the wheels (which i did specify the size 18 x 9.5/10.5j), or the spacers, nor do i plan changing the tires, constructive criticism is not "luks retardid bor" I'm not asking for criticism, nor do I give a hoot lol.

What is the wheel offset? 9.5/10.5...? You are by asking a question with no facts. This clearly shows what a fuckboi you are not knowing jack about cars.

Skimming 2 pages of your idiocy, I can point out that you went online, bought your fanboy shit that you did 30 minutes of research on, got it, installed it, post this shit b/c it didnt fit, then realized what a moron you are and wont accept the fact and plus youre broke after spending $750 on spacers so you really cant change the set up...

all because you think this is a sweet fking car bro and you gotta make it look like that n be broski (very original)

peaceone people like you are the reasons op companies like arc and hks nismo stop making awesome parts for the 240 and why companies like greddy lower their standards to keep up with fagboys like you that go around spreading replicas like the plague. What the hell does the offset matter? Am I going to change the offset or wheel size, you cant understand that how many times I hammer into your thick skull that "wheels/spacer/tire size will NOT change" broke after spending 750 on spacers lol please, you have no idea. Is it wrong to like someones wheel set up??? If you are going to be rude to me, yes, I will be rude back to you. Btw nice gypsy shack of a house you have there. It looks like you'll either have to do a bunch of cutting and feel it out as you go or cut a little bit and run crazy stiff spring rates without much travel.

1on1 07-28-2015 09:40 PM

What's the offset of your wheels?

mhubeny180sx 07-28-2015 10:17 PM

+35 front + 25 rear

Stiveno 07-28-2015 10:22 PM

ruining your car with "expensive baller quality parts" ≠ taste

beg that company to return those 2 foot spacers and put the wheels back on normally.

if it still rubs have a professional give the quarters a slight roll/pull because it is obvious you have no fucking clue what you are doing. You keep talking about "fuckboys" but ruining your clean quarters with "sik widebody" is step on to being one.

Will they also roll and pull my coilovers? Wow all of the sudden someone spends money on something of quality and instant baller status. ehh. $700 spacers aren't baller, its a safety thing, just how like I bought real brides rather than fuckboi step 2: purchase bride reps and get paralyzed from the neck down when your rep seats snap in a collision. Nice baller wheelchair and medical bills bro.

let me walk you through it since you have difficulty following a conversation
stiveno: remove spacers
stiveno: while ur at it get someone to pull/roll fenders <insert cheeky commments in attempt to compensate for something>

Me: remove spacers ok
me: ok i removed spacers but my wheels hit my coilovers, since im absolutely clueless I will ask the professional to roll and pull my coilovers, if it worked on my fenders, it should work on my coilovers right <sarcasm incase you fail at following that too>

Where did you write that your wheels hit your coilovers without spacers before that? I don't see it anywhere.

Here's the new solution buy wheels that fit

mhubeny180sx 07-28-2015 11:05 PM

l2read to your question, and to your solution. :)

tetsuon18 07-29-2015 12:20 AM

mother of fucking fucks... And just when i though I've seen retarded. So you think you can justify expensive ass spacers, (which you could have spent that money on engine upgrades, MORE suspesion, etc) with posting a picture of a REAL tuner? Guess what... he might be slightly lower, but I guarran fucken tee you that he has a ton of supporting mods to compensate with the modifications made to the roll center. Get rid of your stupid fucking spacers, your wheels are wide enough and look great. Spend your money on more functional stuff instead of trying to make your car what it really isn't. Don't cut into the body because eventually you'll just ruin a perfectly nice car all because you're a stubborn retard.:picardfp:

harris180 07-29-2015 12:33 AM

wait your wheels are 10.5 +25 rears and they hit the coilover? What brand are your coilovers?

Sileighty_85 07-29-2015 12:37 AM

Bro... There are only 4 ways to fix your problem (5 if you count setting your car ablaze until the tires melt off, Which sounds pretty good right now). They are all easy to figure out.

If you cannot figure out how to fix this easy solution then I highly suggest you stop what you are doing before you go past the PONR and have to resort to #5.

KiLLeR2001 07-29-2015 01:16 AM

Holy fuck those spacers honestly look like they are 65mm thick, LMAO!

Hope you have a case of wheel bearings on hand.

P.S., nice spacer bro...

I knew something like that would show up lol

turbo2nr 07-29-2015 06:02 AM

So who is this RWB fella?

Does he use bigger spacers then this guy?

Will OP get his wheel and fenders to fit?

0_o Find out on the next episode of Zilvia....

1on1 07-29-2015 07:12 AM

Can you provide a photo of your spacers? Also, do you have any suspension parts installed?

why would i set my mint car on fire? so it can look like a combination of your wifes' face and your cars? multi colored unfinished panels and all droopy/saggy? nthx.

mhubeny180sx 07-29-2015 07:53 AM

lol all these ppl hating on me got the 900k mileage cars with gt wings to keep downforce on their garage dormant (due to not running) 240. My vehicle is not even 25% done and its miles past (from what ive seen) any of these hater's cars.

Hiighboost2 07-29-2015 08:08 AM

Digging that hole pretty deep I see.
Why don't you go ahead and figure it out on your own since you're so much more intelligent than the rest of us combined.
As a matter of fact.. why did you even start this thread seeing that your obviously some type of genius when it comes to car setups.

hahaha ok bro, Now who's hating?

My 5 built cars out preform your soon to be dumpster spec S13 in every way.

Im more of a function over form kinda guy. Paint and body work is the last thing I worry about on all my cars. Not to mention none of my cars are anywhere close to being finished.

I leave all the easy stuff for last.

Since you can't understand the concept.

Rubber melts/burns when exposed to extreme temps. so when your tires melt and burn off the wheels then you don't have a problem with the tires hitting the fenders.

lol such a lame excuse for not being able to afford to properly build a car. maybe if you focused your attention on building one very nice car, rather than 5 pieces of junk, you would have some credibility. feels nice when someone makes fun of your unfinished project right? Alot of ppl fail to see that this a thread asking for a suggestion that I possibly havent thought of, and not "hei guys my car finally finished look" FOLLOW ME ON GOOGLE PLUS.

HAHAHA Really? You are joking right? None of my cars are properly built?

Please enlighten me on how none of my cars are properly built? Aside from My AE86 which the engine was in an unknown state and I was on a time crunch to get running before I had to leave the US.

Maybe you should take a closer look at my build threads and notice the quality of parts that are installed in them.

My GT-R. Yeah so haggard

Dude, what is your deal? For real? Why such a chip on your shoulder?

Serious. Calm the fuck down and stop trying "win" every argument. The bottom line is that you simply can not run those wheels, those spacers without A LOT of body work.

Also, you keep mentioning safety for the justification for your spacers. The bottom line is that spacers aren't safe. If you want safe, buy wheels that fit with out the use of spacers. (I understand that you love these discontinued wheels)

Spacers put extra wear and tear on your drive line components, messes with the geometry and adds an additional failure point per wheel. (I don't care if they are made from titanium)

Please stop. This isn't a dick measuring contest, you are a keyboard cowboy and responding to the other trolls. If it is your car, and this is how you want it to look, you honestly should not be asking for advice here. You know what the answer is (also it's been post by me and others). You will need to pay someone to do the work for you and they will tell you that it's not possible or they will charge you a ton to do it (which clearly isn't a concern for you).

Honestly, do you think the hatch you referenced earlier made a post like this? No, he wanted to do it had the skills, or knew someone who does, to make it happen.

You can't ask a dumb question and not expect snarky responses.

you think its impressive, its an average gtr, there is one that looks exactly like it in my small ass mining town a few streets away from me with all the nismo goodies. cool you read zilvia and fanboy arc parts to get sik jdm status, that spoiler looks terrible. why dont you show us your rainbow 240s? Do i go bash your 240s, I have the mental capacity to understand people post things here that are a work in progress, so im not gonna chirp someones car, but if someone is gonna trash talk me of course I will defend myself, and Im very good at it. You dont see me posting my cadillac escalade ext or lincoln navigator around here rite why would i 240/fariladyz forum bro...

oh im sorry I didn't realize you had degree in engineering and physics from the university of google. Spacers are as safe as you make them. These spacers were made by a company professionally with a lot of experience making spacers (mostly for 4x4 applications) so I think they know what they are talking about when they sent me instructions to follow, making sure i had enough thread to attach to, proper torque, adjusting and adding lock tite after a certain amount of kilometers. I fail to see how a literal extension of the hub puts any more wear and tear on drive line components than a no spacer wheel would with the exact same offset.

I never said it was hot shit. Like I said body work is last on my cars so yeah its gonna look similar to most. You said all my cars were not properly built and look like shit. Still waiting on your explanation on how they are poorly built too.

I am just proving you wrong.

It is also an ARC spoiler. Mounts to the Factory wing mounts and is lighter weight and more functional.

so its fan boy to have quality parts? interesting. So I guess those SSR's you have make you a fan boy as well then right? According to your logic.

I build my cars to what I like not other ppl. and defiantly don't copy other ppls style like you are doing. I try to be original.

mhubeny180sx 07-29-2015 10:09 AM

this is the KEY problem im dealing with when it comes to cutting fenders, which will not solve anything because the tires are hitting on the mounting points of the bumper (which is just mocked up)

with wheel turned showing contact point
http://i.imgur.com/lTpdOv3.jpg

with wheel turned away to show the point where the bumper attaches to the fender
http://i.imgur.com/imN1zqP.jpg

edit:
I was thinking of adjusting the caster, but i only have about 1/4 inch - 1/2 inch of space back there when the wheels are turned so i don't think it would get me very far

Just to stoke the fire, have you thought about dropping down two sidewall series?

Also, very serious question. Have your spacers been heat cycled and shot peened?
