Any good performance shops? N.C.
 

I am coming out of the Fayetteville area and will be returning from a 15 month deployment in Afghanistan within a few weeks. There are a few shops here and there but none that I see that do quality work. I will be looking to drop an SR20 probably within the next few months or so. I was wondering if any of you in N.C. can give me a few good shops that you have had experiance with. I am willing to drive for quality work so any information will help. Thank you. I can't wait to get back to the states!!!!!!!!

You could do it yourself and save cash money
Step 1: get friends (ideally someone who has done a swap before)
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Beer and engine hoist
Step 4: vroom! vroom!

Thanks everyone for the advice. I actually ended up meeting somebody that is interested in helping me with the swap so I think I am going to go at it with him and his friends so I can learn and have more sense of pride when its complete. Appreciate the info.

Hey man i know a GREAT shop in Jacksonville.....they did my SR Swap in my 90 Hatch......they had alot of projects going on at once so it took longer than expected but they have been VERY good to me.....called me before making ANY decisions so as to find out what I Wanted instead of what they could bill me for. They Even made an itemized bill for me so i could eliminate anything off the list that was too costly or unnecessary for what i needed. If you get an S13 SR and have everything you need its like 1500 bucks to get it done.....they are called Majestic Motorsports.....if you send me a message i can set something up for you and maybe get you a discount....:) i dropped alot there having stuff i couldnt do myself done there so they gimme and my friends discounts here and there.

if you ever need help with the swap when you get back to bragg, just hit me up i'll be more than happy to help

also theres this shop called godspeed, this guy knows ALOT about 240s and SRs, but my buddy took his car there and it's taken him several months to finish so yeah

honestly the only shop i would trust is B.R.E Motorsports...go check out their site. close thread. just google the owner/shop head michael "tex" blackwell and you'll see where i'm coming from. their s13 is one of the cleanest and well built s13's i've ever seen.

Even though this is an old thread, I just wanted to let everyone know that I do SR and RB swaps in Greensboro. I recently moved from SoCal and opened my own shop called Everyday Performance Auto, and I have been doing swaps and building drift cars in cali for 4 years. Now I'm back in NC Adam 336-686-3220

Shops that can tune Power FC
 

Looking for a shop that has experience tuning with Apexi Power FC. I have the FC Dataloggit and will give my car a decent tune before taking it to a shop. Only one I've found in the Carloinas is TDC in Spartanburg SC They show a SR S13 that was tuned by them and has PFC. Anybody know of any other shops?
