S14 Tach Speedo doesn't work
 

ok so i been out of 240's for about 4 years now.

But Im about to pick up another 95 zenki, guy says tach and speedo doesn't work. He says it needs a lower harness.

Is this true and will it fix it. And around about how much to fix if it is the lower harness.

Tach should work without lower harness as long as the wiring harness is not haggard and it's getting a good signal. You need a lower harness for speedometer regardless and it needs to have a good speed sensor to work
