Well my job is going to be laying off more than 500 people!!!!! Just founfd out that 10 of my close friends got the bad news that they were laid off right now. This really sucks ass cause there are alot people like me who's other half works there as well. I know of a couple who already got let go. Well I will find out Wed if I hope a job.

Damn sorry to hear about that... All this outsourcing is pissing me off. I called capital one a few weeks ago, and all i got was an idian woman yelling at me "MR VEAL MR VEAL HELLO MR VEAL."

pretty soon all thats gonna be left is either highly specialized technical positions requiring years of experience and the food industry.

Sitting around blaming Bush all day won't fix the problem.

Best bet is to hope you are not going to be layed off, and if so just go out and try to find a more stable job.

no smiley needed, it's all true. The war in Iraq is the exact reason our economy is where it's at. We provided other countries with hundreds of millions of US economy and when OUR money leaves OUR country it deteriorates our economy. If you don't like this war, vote Obama, although he's a LOT more left wing than most people think.

My job sucks but I'm glad I have a job in this economy. I can't complain about the money though, I make a great living.

i am sorry to hear about you might lose your job, but it is also very painful for me to hear that maybe at least 250 people will apply for unemployment aid =(

Ya.... for me its great, I just go a raise. I Work for sprint as a finance rep. Hopefully by the time the economy turns, Ill have finished schooling cause thats when they will start laying people off.

Been there, done that. It's really not hard, I had it on lock and I was finishing up my lower bay shit in minutes so I got to sit around in the pit and study the vast majority of the time.

Plus, I was doing front/rear/tcase/grease fittings on my Land Cruiser whenever the hell I felt like it. :rofl:
