s13 air filter problem

need help do not know if these two wires/hoses should be sticking out.this happened after i took of the factory air filter box and the hoses that were connected there were left.engine is ka24e

that little box is just emissions if you care at all. block it off. my aem short ram had a spot for it.

how about the wire,but the hose sucks air

Intake air temperature sensor. The other unit is the AIV.

I'm not going to finish answering this because it's a very, very remedial question. It's sad you wasted bandwidth to even ask.
