I just attended the ZdayZ event there and it was a blast!

Really? Last I heard the locals were trying to get rid of motocycles and sports cars running the Dragon's Tail (putting sand down in the corners, calling the cops at the first sound of an exhaust, etc., etc.). If it's still fair game, then I'm sure it'll be fun.

There were tons of bikes there and the natives seemed pretty nice. When we came up on them they were nice enough to pull over and let us go by.

We are planning a quick trip in about three weeks with the guys in our car club. I'll keep you posted. If you would like to go your welcome to join.

Hopefully later in the summer we can organize a full 240 meet!!

If my car would ever be running and have no problems I want to go, so far that hasn't happened.

Guys we have a tenative date. June 14th. Yes I know that it is a Wednesday. The reason that we are going on a Wed. is because most of the folks in our car club have a hard time getting weekends off. You guys are welcome to join us. We will be staying at Fontana Villiage. If you are interested pm me.

I hope we can plan a 240 weekend later in the summer.

Another Trip to the Dragon
 

We are going to make another trip to Deals Gap, NC to drive the Tail of the Dragon. We are actually crashing an Evo event. The Dates are 7/8-10. If your interested in joining the ride lmk.

On a local forum here in town we are organizing a Deals Gap trip later this fall. Sept 30-0ct 2. If it the dragon wasnt so far away from here I would love to go out there with you guys.

It is about a 260 mile trip for us. This will be the third time we have been up there this summer. It's a lot of fun. My 240 is not ready yet so I take my AutoX car (93 Miata) that I recently purchased.
