96 240sx automatic won't go into park
 

Hi everyone!

I have an S14 that was stuck in park. It didn't want to shift into any gears. When I stepped on the brake pedal I could hear the clicking of the safety engaging but it wouldn't shift. And so I yanked it really hard into Drive and now it won't stay in Park, I can push it into park it just won't stay. I'm guessing I broke something???

Anyone know what I broke and know how I can fix if?

Yep that sounds like its right fucked... Easy fix though, time for a 5speed swap.

Ive got an auto transmission for ya!!

I'm pretty sure the transmission is not the problem but the shifter ?

It goes in every gear and it actually goes into park it just doesn't lock/stAY in park :/ and this is my beater lawls.. Def trying not to spend money on it. All the monies goes into the SR not this stock KA :P
