Yeah, going back home is the best feeling I've ever experienced! I'm going back there at the end of 2010 anyway.

Yeah this is my 4th (twice as marine second time as security contractor) time in Iraq no AStan yet. I am heading to a new course in Jan for T/C so we will see where they send me. The conflict is for sure over here.

My prayers go out to all the soldiers that are out in combat and to the Afgan families who have no part in this war, yet they reap the wrath of War. Its sad and honestly I wish it would all just stop.

I don't know if he even fully understands what's going on.

I don't think the guy on the right is firing his weapon because he's not looking down the sights and the butt stock is waayyy to his right

The Taliban hide in the mountains.... which is easier to camouflage in than that hut. And I think the soldier on the right is reloading... or getting ready to because his round tray isnt open.

I'm deploying in March, can't wait to go.
