exhaust leak
 

has anyone had an exhaut leak problem on an s14 sr. cuz mine keeps comin back every time i get on it. I fix it, boost a couple then it leaks again. can anyone tell me what exhaust u have that does not leak so can get the same.
I currently have megan header, greddy turbo elbow greddy down pipe to megan test pipe. all gaskets are metal. nd I have those fancy one time use lock nuts. I dont get on it that hard either only up 6500.

is megan good? I heard it wasnt...

also is it possible to check for boost leaks without a boost gauge?

What kind of leaks do you get?

Does your downpipe have a flex pipe?

I have exhaust leak, exhaust pressure is not spooling the turbo like it should..

and no I do not have a flex on the down pipe...

Uhh if it's not spooling check your wastegate, boost controller, turbo manifold, and turbo

should I get a flexing down pipe? my stock waste feels like it dumps prematurely. should I change both waste gate and down pipe?

You don't have to fix what isn't broken, if your wastegate is dumping prematurely, it may need to be adjusted or you may need a new one.

You should also get a boost gauge so you can tell if it is actually dumping prematurely.
