Why dont we make a san diego meet this saturday 03/15
 

Im from san diego and sure dont want to drive all the way to l.a for a meet, lets see how many San Diego guys would want to meet up. Also think of a place maybe somewhere in the middle of sd county so more people could attend.

im down for an sd meet. how about AROUND clairemont to mission valley. reason i say around clairemont is cus i saw way too many cops last saturday night, especially around the coffee shops. yep. so what do u think?

Clairemont sounds cool, talk about cops i hit 7 cops in a 3 mile radius last night around 11:30pm. I mean damn, not that were going to be racing but cops are pulling over anybody with exhaust now, my friend just got pulled over for the second time and had to show his carb certificate, otherwise back to court. The officer was looking for nos, he didnt even notice the sr20, just kind of funny :) Anyone else in san diego want to meet?

a carb certificate for an exhaust? umm doesnt having just a catback exhaust not affect emissions, but will affect noise? ....or are you talking about intake, header blah blah?

He said it was because it made it louder, but my friend just showed the cop the 50 state legal certificate and he said he could go, i guess the cop was focusing on nitrous, the thing thats crazy is his exhaust isnt even that loud.

damn i got finals the week of 3/17. But i will go depending on the time and place. Why dont you go to green tea house or tapioca express? You can drink some BoBa. ANd try to make it in the afternoon cauz i cant go at night.

so theres 5 cars that could possibly make it, tea house sounds like it would be cool anyone else agree? would around 5 or 6 be good for everyone, i just dont want to go somewhere where it will be really busy and have a busy parking lot. If we dont get enough cars this time you guys pick a date when everyone can make it, we dont have to do it this weekend, it would be nice to have more cars though. Anyone else?

Well next weekend it would be better but i cant go if it is after 4pm.

green tea house gets packed and lots of cops, just don't get caught for something dumb. i saw 2 cop cars last saturday just circling the place... on the other hand, it would be kinda cool to showoff 240s like that ;)

oh i know where we should meet. there's this one boba place when your on clairemont mesa blvd, going west, towards the 805 freeway, right after convoy, you turn left into a shopping center with a big parking lot. That's where the socal vw/audi guys meet up every tuesday night. It's a big parking lot... any of u guys kno what im talking about?

no idea. can u be a bit more specific? And you guys want this to be at night or during the day when its hot and you can enjoy a nice cold sweet tasty boba drink? lol
And there are always mad cops around but as long as you dont do anything stupid they really dont harraaase u. lol spelled it wrong and i dont care.
I think they like pullin over honda's better. so dont worry, be happy with a boba drink in your hand:D

say you're on clairemont mesa blvd, heading west, towards the 805 freeway
right after convoy, you turn left at this intersection.(you will see carls jr./green burrito to your right)
then you turn right into a shopping center with a big parking lot and just keep going straight in the parking lot where there is a boba place. sorry i forget what it's called. ummm i can give u my phone # if u still dont get it.....?

The parking lot sounds like it would be cool, just somewhere open where there wont be alot of people, otherwise it will be hard to find parking, walk around etc. Does everyone prefer afternoon or night, i prefer night because its less crowded, so maybe this weekend we can meet up in the afternoon but next weekend we can meet up around 10pm or so so everyone can make it, tell me if that sounds good.

that sounds fine to me. maybe if it turns out ok, we can make this a bi weekly, monthly thing.

yeah i know where you talkin about. That place has horriable boba. Im assuming its still open. hahhaha But im down.

But dang 10 pm? the cops gonna think we out for the races and will prob bother us. Sat night at 10pm. Not a good idea. But i really dont care

yeah im from SD, I live in University City, right by Clairemont, u know where that is right???

guys if we go at night on clairmonte mesa blvd then we wont be racing, we will get way far from there if we want to screw around. Just make sure if you come that your exhaust isnt to loud it would suck if you got hassled, and remember the speed limit is 35mph i got pulled over for going 50 in my eclipse and the cop told me it was 35 and i couldnt believe it, its a 5 lane road but you have to drive slow. So did we decide that parking lot will be the place to meet up. If so post times that everyone will be able to make it at so we can find out whats convinient, and 240degrees find out what the shopping center is called lol, i kind of know the area i just dont want anyone getting lost, that would suck.

i'm definitely down for a meet. Just say the time and place. I'll finally get to meet some 240 "tuners".

BOBA OWNS. anybody ever been to Lolicup? Sorry im going off topic.

give me some times, i dont know what everyone can make it to, do you want a night meet or an afternoon meet? if its afternoon maybe around 3pm so everyone can make it, if its night how does 10pm sound, you guys tell me.

im down with both times. if 3pm is better for everyone, then thats cool too, although id rather do it at night. im gonna be the black hatch with mesh in the rear and hubcaps in front :p

haha yea ill try to find what the shopping center is called and the street name forreal. ill cruise by wed after class then i guess.

I can do both too, this weekend we can meet up around 3pm so that everyone can make it because 10pm sounds to late. So can everyone make it at 3?

Also think of things to do, maybe go to dennys or something i dont know, cuz if we all meet up and dont do anything the whole meet will be a bust

that place is called Tea Station. just look for Quizno's in the corner. they're in the same plaza. Tea Station is a good place because it has good food. Their boba is ok, besides, i hardly see cops in that area. the cops mainly go up and down convoy. on a staurday night, green tea house parking will be packed! no parking. by the way. at night would be great, cause i work at fashion valley mall and i don't get out till 9:30. so 10 pm sounds great on a saturday.

you know what would be cool? if we met up in the daytime and play some hoops at some nice recreation center.

Seems like maybe night would be better now, the only person that responded to night or day was Zenki so im going with night, it seems like it would be alot more fun, and more cars (honda guys) come out at night and we want everyone to see our 240's right? Also day time will be very crowded, lots of people crowd clairmont messa blvd. something i forgot, so 10pm is the time guys, whoever can make it that will be tight, we will do this more than once so whoever cant make it this weekend its not going to be the last meet.
