Ohio 240 long time member new poster
 

Well, I tried making a new thread about a week ago and it never showed up... I dunno why but.
My name is Dave, I have had a 240 for about five years and spent most of my time on club240. I have recently been working on a 240 I picked up in california and just finished painting it... wanna see some pics??

I decided I would go for a more clean look by filling in all the body lines on my car.

The color is toyota super white with a super fine silver ghost pearl.

anyone know where I can find the +10 offset Rota grids for a decent price?

That is a great looking car Dave! As for the Rotas, you can get them for a decent price from Elite Wheels in Cincy. As for up here in NEO, not too sure who would have them for a decent price, though there are a lot of places here that can get them...

I have decided to forget about the grids, my new goal is to get R32 GTR wheels :D OEM'ish, 8" wide and pretty sexy! Let me know if anyone sees any for sale!

Thank you! I am hoping to finish up the energy suspension bushings this week or next, then start my swap... w00t ! Just sucks that I am in college 110 miles away from my car :( it makes progress really slow, and the GF doesn't really like me leaving every weekend.. she doesn't understand I have another woman...Silvia :D

i know what your going trhuw i just try to re insure my gf that shes more important to me than the car (Right..)

Well! I finished the energy suspension, and that was a huge pain in the a$$ but its done and I have heard people say its worth it.
so i got it on the ground and wheeled it out to the sun so it could cure the clear alittle.

then I cleaned up the rb alittle and put on my new spec clutch (feels great on as far as pedal weight goes)

I was stuck at home with my son (but we played XBOX360, so it was all good). Next time, a little more notice and I will be there for sure!

So, when are you guys getting back to the car? Also, when can you help me paint my car? I have the paint, reducer, clear coat, etc.... Just need to DA and finish body work, then primer and paint...

I want to say i will be back at it soon, but things have gotten busy... What I wouldn't give to just drive my friggin' car! I did the wiring over the weekend and just have trouble shooting to complete. as for when we are painting your whip, let me know what works for you, If I have good excuse to go to cleveland my girlfriend gets less mad LOL!

I have the paint, the clear, the reducer and all the body work stuff, just don't have my own paint gun and compressor...

turns out i have both of those things... I just need to get my car out of my brothers garage before i push another one in there LOL

U guys just need to find a girl that understands lol, my s14 is my baby.. haha my son comes first then my car then my fiancee haha.

Update! : The interior is pretty much done, I just need to tuck my wideband and boost gauge wires.. I finished with the driveshaft and bleeding the brakes, now all I have to do is see if i can move the engine back any, and get my exhaust and inter cooler piping made! I really wanna be at any august meet available!
