Hey whats up guys just wanted to shoot out a message to see if anyone knows any good hangout spots (preferably not some dumb kids that dont know anything about cars) for the Savannah/Hinesville area. I will be moving there at the end of Sept for the Army. Thanks ! :hsdance:

There's Starbucks on Abercorn/Montgomery Crossroads 9:00p.m. on Sat nights. After that at the old Piggly Wiggly parking lot on Hwy 204/King George Blv there's always a big crowd. That's about it in Sav.

trust me i been there one time ,is preaty gay..some of the guys down in beafort meet up at the sonic in beafort on saturdays, we are all military.right now im not sure bc some of us are deploy..but i guess go to savahana n c for ur self,hit me up if u want to meet up after Aug.

Im not to keen on the goergetown meet, or by starbucks. i just met a group of guys who go to Wal mart on thursdays, but we will see. So far ive seen there isnt that big of a car scene :(

Also new to the hinesville/savannah area. Does anyone host any drift events in the area or is it looking like I'm gonna have to go to sc or fl?

There is a group that meets at Sonic's but its mixed with some import and some domestic. They usually roll out to Savannah. Last time I went there were about 100 cars, small 350z/G35 club, gtr club, and a S15 plus like 40 hondas.

Drifting - There is a small event held at myrtle beach,sc. Not too sure other than that as I usually just head up to NC for any other events.

If you know anyone looking for an S14 I have one up for sale fairly cheap.

There's not a drift scene here in Savannah and that's a good thing. Most of the "dorifto" types...well...nvm....

Yeah, I guess the Starbucks meet is whack at time, but the Starbucks thing was never supposed to be a thing in the first place. It was just some friends coming together for...coffee and it turned into another thing.

Anyway, my crew is heavy on Auto X and if you wanna roll, we've an event this Sunday on Hutchinson island.

Buccaneer Region: Autocross/Solo

Sav scene is up and down, usually a decent turnout, but when its a shitty turnout, its shitty. The sonics thing in Beaufort is of the gay. Usually the same 5-10 cars meet up for about half hour or so, then go home or head to the pig in Sav. Charleston scene is usually pretty good. But no one wants to drive an 1.5hr to hope poeple showed up.

I was told about an autocross/drift event that happens occasionally just in SC across the bridge from Savannah, the last time there was one i Jacked my car and couldnt drive it lol

Does anyone know anything about that or have any info on it?

besides taht starbucks meets are great... well atleast at the moment they are good, hope shi crowd from piggly wigly doesnt show uppp to starbucks... atleast at starbucks there are few cops always around so idiots are being too stupid....
