I relocated my battery to the back, rebuilt my starter and now when I turn the key all it does is click, and takes many tries until it finally turns on, any idea what it could be ???

Rebuilt the starter with the same old solenoid?
Where’s your grounding point? Chassis?

New solenoid, and I grounded it to the chassis

How’s the condition of your battery? Did you happen to install a fuse within the battery cable? What gauge are you using? Did the car start prior to the battery relocation?

Brand new battery, has 800 cca, using 2 gauge wire. And the car had the same problem before I relocated the battery

Behind the clutch pedal there is a rubber stopper that the switch pushes into. Is it gone?
