14mm wheels on 12mm studs and lugnuts

Anyone know whether standard 12mm (M12*P1.25 in nissan's case) lugnuts on our S-Chassis 12mm studs will hold on to wheels made for 14mm studs? (e.g. some Z34 and newer cars)

Not sure if I'm putting it clearly... In other words -

A lot of modern cars are moving toward 14mm studs, and some modern volk wheels are only made for 14mm studs.
Will these new wheels fit on our old cars with our old lugnuts?

Tapered lug nuts and hubcentric adapters should remedy this.

For the record, I also took the liberty to check in with Rays (via Jesse Streeter), and they also confirmed that using wheels with 14mm holes is fine for our 12mm cars since we're on the tapered lugnut setup.
