as I was preparing for my 4 day trip to santa barbera for my fiances bday on friday, I decided, "Hey, I need a new pair of shorts". And off to anchor blue at oakridge mall I went. Well, little did I know, it was going to be the last hours of freedom for a couple days. As I was walking out from making my purchase, I saw a man and his girl arguing. He seemed to be more upset/loud than she was. Definately the aggressor. Ok cool, none of my buisness.
Then. He grabbed her by the chest area of her shirt, pulled her into his closed fist, face first two times. Without thinking about ANYTHING, I immediately ran over, yelled out at him. And when he turned around, I punched him with a force, that currently has my right ring finger knuckle relocated. That should have probably been it. But it wasn't. I then grabbed him by the back of the neck and procceded to find out how many face plants to his front windshield it would take to break the window, all the while yelling "how does it feel to fight a MAN" Well, someone called the cops (they were actually in the lower front parkinglot). Well when all was said and done, I got taken downtown, and the other guy went to the hospital.
Since my bail was 25K, I would have to fork that up to get out, or just hang out till monday. I hung out till monday. My lawyer then got me out on my own recognisance. He said not to worry, the charge (aggrivated assult) will not hold. Everything was caught on security camera, and it shows him beat her and me stop it. And since the guy was larger than the woman and myself, my force was justifyable. Not to mention he was commiting a felony domestic violence. Even as I write this, I'm sick to my stomach. It is so fucked up that a grown man who was about 6'1 200# would hit a woman 5'5 120#. It makes me sick that ANY man would lay a hand on a woman. Well from what my lawyer told me, he has a broken eye socket, jaw and nose. Hopefully he thinks twice next time he wants to hit a woman. The sad truth is that I'm sure this wasn't the first time he has hit her, or an other woman for that matter, and what's worse, she might go back to it. What a pussy. I hope he rots in hell
