Recently the guys at Mighty Car Mods created a post apocalyptic Silvia S15. Mods included a Holden LS1 swap, burnt body panels, chopped fenders & straight pipes. I think it's awesome, and the last video in the series show the car tearing it up in dirt. I consider this S chassis to be the epitomy of wabi sabi.

I wouldn't describe it as wabi sabi, but it is really rad. I think the Mad Max thing is awesome, this car could definitely be in the movie.

My opinion is, It looks hidious and not sure if did an AWD conversion, but looks like it needs it with tires like that.

I think it is cool, as long as you take it with a grain of salt. The car was non insurable so it was gonna get scrapped or crashed at a drift event anyways.

They are serious hacks. Even with gramps they did everything well then didn't bother to cover it or remove the electronics during a full respray.
