this was just a couple of sessions. my friend dru bought another 240 hadnt had one for over a year. pretty much him starting to practice again. we are not professionals and dont claim to be. i filmed this with my iphone. so please dont hate. leave the positive comments or feedback in the comments.

the nearest track located around us is over 200 miles away, we are deep in the outskirts of town, and far away from anyone, where we arent hurting anyone. this video is not promoting it. but making the best out of what we have. sorry if it offends. im not trying to break rules just have a good time in our cars. we arent drifting through the middle of the city.

^^^^^^Yep what he said. You live in CA so I'm sure you can find some local track and practice drifting there legally. Street drifting is how people get killed and how drifters get a bad wrap. So go to a track.

i dont really care. i guess ban me.. im not in the wrong. also yes the track being 200 miles away is a problem. we were on roads with no one driving on them in the middle of nowhere... i know every single one of you has gone sliding in the outskirts of your town. we dont have a track. nor one close by so this is the result.

this is in the middle of nowhere, no ones lives were in danger, watch the video there are no other cars around.

i agree drifting in the city on the streets is stupid. this isnt putting anyone in danger but us. thats our choice. i was just trying to share a video i made. not get hated on.

200 miles isn't that far for a track event anyways. That's only like a 3hr drive at the most. Try towing from LA to Phoenix twice a year for SCCA events.

EDIT: I just checked on mapquest, Buttonwillow is between 110-130 miles from Santa Maria (depending on the route). The OP's excuse doesn't check out, that's not far at all... I live farther from buttonwillow than that. It's probably about 200 miles to Willow Springs, which has drift events on the regular. Stop being lazy/cheap. Motorsports is an expensive/time consuming hobby. Maybe the OP should choose another hobby...

200 miles aint bad. I drove my daily/track car 172 miles yesterday at 7AM for an event from 12PM-4PM, then 172 miles back, just to burn one set of tires. It cost me a full tank of gas and the gate fee, but hey if you enjoy the sport you'll suck it up. And I go to that event once a month, along with a more local one once a month as well. And you can ride along with some really good drivers, meet people, practice in a more controlled environment. Plus, at least around where I'm at, there aren't any turns you can hit speeds like this on:
