Seems like this thread has lived a lot longer than I thought it would. I figured it would be helpful to edit the first post and add a little information here to help you all find some interesting new music.

I tunes is great for all the easy to find popular stuff.
Beatport is great for all the electronic stuff, especially hard to find electronic music that is unpopular in the states.
