Question on s15 gear ratio
 

I have an s15 spec s diff i am looking to buy and I can't find anything definitive on the gear ratio in it some people say yes it has the 3.69 same as the spec r but the car is a 5 speed not a 6 speed guess I'm looking to see if anyone else has any experience in what the ratio is , my car is setup with a z33 6 speed and I'm looking to use the diff for the speedo pickup and the gear ratio to not have 1-3 so short thanks guys [emoji102] [emoji108]

Is there a picture of the ring gear? The ratio is stamped on it.

Don't have a pic of it it's still in his car he's swapping it with a q45 so I don't have it yet was just wondering if anyone knows if the spec s came with that ratio or not

Spec Should be 4.08 as it was not turbo. Automatic might be a little different. Also its not helical, or shouldn't be, vlsd if anything. Helicals came 3.69 (spec r) or 4.08 (autech, good luck finding that one)

I know it's not helical I'd assume vlsd, I already have a helical in my car right now I plan on swapping the ring gears on just trying to see if anyone knows car is not turbo so I'm not sure gonna see if he will open the diff and see if it is stamped
