95 S14 manual conversion

Hey guys,

Need to some help with indentifying an ecm, I recently converted my auto to manual and when I was removing the brake pedal and dropped steering column I noticed an ecm under there with SC on it, I had to remove it and the bracket to get the clutch pedal in. So my first questions,

1. What is the ecm used for? Do I need it with my LS swap

2. If anyone has converted, where did you relocate it to

Its the ECM for the auto tranny. You can leave it in place or remove it.

Perfect, so that ecm and the little black box can be removed completely??

The little black box is your smart entrance control unit. Leave that be.
