Any Kansas brahs, next duty station: Ft Riley
 

Heading to ft riley for my next duty station..will be driving down their in sept after taking leave in NYC/NJ

May be there after I PCS from Germany. I scared too though. Thats who just revlieved us from Afghanistan , Dudes where all ate up. Bunch of fat ass tankers and POG's relieved our company of Infantry at a small ass outpost , lol they are gonna be having fun

there is a kansas scene, kc area though. we have drift events out at heartland park in topeka.

91rs13 is exactly right.. kansas is a " trend " town.. everybody tends to rock whatever is in style... well i guess the 240sx is the new trend.. ever since i rolled my S14 with a rb25det swap onto my towns streets, kids have been buying them up like candy.. in just 2 months we went from two 240sx's all the way up to 10 or so.. we have 6 s13's and atleast 4 s14's.... most have just intake and exhaust/cutt off muffler, but there is a boosted ka24de and my RB25det powered s14's as well.. topeka kansas is having a drift event in the next week or so.. its called KANSAS YEAH round 2 ..... $60 to get in and have unlimited fun for 5 hours.. check it out.. normally all of the kansas 240sx guys show up there.. also check out " fast fridays " in kc.. its a cali style car meet every other friday.. everybody shows there... its just a giant hang out for car guys like us... for a little street action, whichita has a good street scene... every night all the street guys meet up at " harbor freight " and hang out.. guys come and go to race and the vibe there is really laied back.. cars like 800hp evo's, stock - boosted honda s2000's, hondas, and low budget car builders all gather there.. if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up.. in your town/JC, some of the import guys meet up at walmart parking lot .. there layed back, feel free to just roll up on them and say hey...

<<< manhattan here...been here 8 months. Night life in "aggyville" is okay at best. I have made friends with a few of the bar owners so its usually a good cheap night with plenty of lose women. As far as gyms go I do "max fitness" its got everything you need and is brand new and its 24/7. Are you living on base or outside? Whatever you do stay the fuck away from Junction city aka junk town. Hit me up when you get here.

Not military, Im a manager at the Olive Garden here. There are some decent hills and curves just outside town. Do you have a motorcycle?

Topeka is my hometown. I go up to the ft. Riley area everytime im on leave

lol.. im in emporia kansas.. lol.. so a little further.. i was wrong when i said 30min.. its more like a hour or so.. lol.. but topeka is only 45 min away.. i used to cruze wannamaker every friday/saturday ... hows the street scene out there nowdays? its been almost 2 years since ive cruzed there..

Yea but they all say that....that's 1st replacement(in processing) you won't know what unit till you get here....unless you got friends here in headquarters that can decipher the next bunch of numbers

whats your unit like? i'm probably going to arrive 1 or 2 days earlier than my report date..is the inprocessing building easy to find

if you guys come up to kc from ft riley youll run into much larger scene
