SR20DET Z32 fuel filter question
 

I have a s13 sr20det and i have a walbro 255lh fuel pump, i was wondering if it would be ok to put in a z32 fuel filter cause it is much bigger than the sr20 fuel filter, and would it cause any adverse side effects with idle or ???

z32 fuel filter is a pretty common swap, i have it in my KA24DE with no prob.

what effect does it do as far as gas saving? i mean if applied on the ka24de?

You can put it on. No side effects on my motor. I don't see how it can cause any problems being it bigger, all it does is being able to filter a larger volume.

well although its bigger in size, the filter doesnt "add" or take away from the amount of gas going to the fuel rail. The swap is mainly used because of the greater filtration. Obviously, since its bigger filters more, last longer.
