Northeast Cruise & BBQ & Photoshoot June 28th! Come or FAIL.
 

We're meeting at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth at 11:00-11:30AM on the 28th!

Alright, doing a cruise/drive/bbw/photo-op/whatever you wanna call it on Saturday the 28th! We're going to be starting out in Portsmouth NH, and cruising down some scenic roads on the eastern seaboard. (a.k.a. by the ocean) :coolugh: Get your projects done, get your cars legal, do what you gotta do but be there!

Bring your own chips/soda or whatever and bring a couple bucks to pay for bbq items, or bring your own. We'll have a grill with us so don't worry about that. Also we might end up grilling at a state park so make sure you have a little cash to get in if we do.

Most importantly, this is legit, we're not pansy noob losers, so you all better show up or just don't come out ever again. :fawkd:No excuses about not having your car, just come with someone else or drive your mom's stock corolla, you're gonna have a great time so don't miss it.

Alright, here's the location we'll meet up at:
Portsmouth, NH Holiday Inn 300 Woodbury Ave, it's real easy to get to right off of 95

Here's the actual roads we'll cruise down. It only says 25 minutes, but we can take Rt1A all the way down to Mass if we wanted, figured we can just cruise it for a little bit then find a spot to BBQ and hang-out.

Drive:
12.6 mi – about 25 mins

1.Head east on Newcastle Ave toward Ridges Ct 0.7 mi
2.Continue on Portsmouth Ave/RT-1B
Continue to follow RT-1B 3.6 mi
3.Turn left at RT-1A/Sagamore Ave
Continue to follow RT-1A 11.8 mi

do you guys typically run long range walkie talkies? Past cruises I've gone on where a few people had them made the ride 100x more fun. you can pickup a set for like $30 if you dont have any either...

We haven't done the walkie talkie thing yet. Would be good for first and last driver in the group. Pretty much we meet up, chill for a bit, drive then ZoMgBbQ?!? lol

At this point I honestly don't think the vert will be there. I've been working on it as much as possible but I'm just running out of time.

What's left to be done?

Well, I still have to buy a few things for it, windsheild and batt. My fenders and kit are at the body shop now. Still have to do more wiring, bleed brakes and clutch. Still have not even started it yet, however I did prime the fuel system and no leaks! Once it's started and everything is said to be ok, I still have to get it tuned. My Dyno guy (who only works on sats) said he would fit me in this week if it was done in time. I just don't know. We will see I guess.

hehe, wow that is a lot of work still to get done....

Well, my fiancee has some cookout the same day with her softball team so she wont be coming... if anyone wants to ride shotgun in my S14 they're welcome to it... It's nothing special (auto SE, bone stock except the exhaust and stereo) but it's a whole lot nicer than some junker DD :D
