Exhaust manifold clearence

I bought a ikon exhaust manifold for my CA18det, I am having an issue withe the Manifold sitting flush on the cylinder head because of a perturbing piece from the cylinder head.
I have searched the web for alternative manifolds to buy and no luck, I was thinking about cutting the metal piece off so i can get clearance |
cut it off
