NISMO Powerbrace studs??
 

So I purchased a powerbrace on here awhile ago and finally got around to installing it only to find out the studs were stripped. Tried the tap and die kit with no luck. Anybody ever had to replace these studs before (press fit) and if so where can I find a replacement.

Nismo Power Braces dont have studs...

You are talking about the front tension Rod brace right?

Yes. In the rear of the brace there are two places with bolts for the sway bar.

Can you just hammer them out then get a bolt tack welded in their place?

got this same problem i might bjust tack them into place

drill it out and rivnut it

A rivetnut is a light duty fastener. Do NOT use one to hold your sway bar on.
