or you could just post on an internet forum and get 100% correct responses every time with no possibility of being flamed.

You can leave it open. If used it will help the BOV open faster since it has pressure on the valve seat minimizing compressor surge.

Why would you pay 25 dollars to make your car run like garbage?
Those things cause all kinds of problems.

Ur dumb, i want to compressor surge cuz 1. i have a stock turbo and it would take years for my turbo to actually fuck up from compressor surge, and 2 you hit boost faster! simple as that!

and yes i paid 25$ bucks for a generic bov that is probably the same thing as ur 300 dollar one just no brand name! ^^^^^^

I ask the same question like 2 years ago and every one says leave it open. BTW its a greddy knock off, if you can't find info about it just search for the real greddy version.

I bought the same BOV brand new a while ago and it didn't work. So i just threw it away.LoL

My sr20 came with the cx racing bov & it made it run like poop but i recirculated it & now its running great lol.

and got a real greddy. flanges where the same =D

I ended up throwing the cx bov away and went with a turbosmart;)

forsomereason mine works fine.... even though ive i could afford it id rather sport a legit greddy bov i cant.. out of my budget.

Had one, thought it worked good. Got a real RS, yeah the cx racing one wasn't working good haha.

mine wasnt ether but after some rtv its working great! dam thing wasnt sealed
