S15 1.5 cusco diff
 

My S15 has a cusco 1.5 diff.

Im not going to assume that the previous owner took care of it, especially since this car sat forever with such low miles.

I found out from researching on cuscos website that I should most likely run 80-140 cusco fluid


I was wondering if ill be ok with redline mt-90 or redline shockproof instead, I have a lot of it sitting in my garage

mt90 is transmission fluid. I've never used it as gear oil for differential. I don't think they're interchangeable

motul makes killer gear oil. as does amsoil.

I dont know much about diffs, I guess my main question is what oil to use other than the cusco ones they're too expensive/take too long to get
